Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina Shevchenko, a Kyrgyzstani Muay-Thai fighter from Peru and an artist in mixed martial arts who is a part of UFC. UFC within the Flyweight Division is currently competing. She is the younger sister of the fellow UFC fighter and ex- UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko's professional career in combat sport began with her debut as a Muay Thai competitor. Shevchenko debuted on the IFMA World Championship Tournament in 2003. Shevchenko took the title after which she defeated Suzane Mller on a unanimous vote. Antonina was able to follow it up, and took home a silver in 2007, a bronze in 2008, and then a gold in 2011 as well as the 2015 IFMA Amateur Muay Thai World Champion. Antonia was first introduced to the professional world in by ringing in 2003. She was the winner of the WKC K-1 World Light Welterweight Championships in 2012 and The Lion Fight Lightweight World Championships in 2016, as well as the WMC World Championships and Phoenix FC World Championships 2016. Antonina's last fight was against Isa Tidblad-Keskikangas in the Phoenix Fighting Championship. She won by a an unanimous vote. Antonina Shevchenko made her first professional MMA record in 2002 during the KFK cup in Kyrgystan in a fight with Anara Bayanova. She took the win via TKO at the end of second and went on to win two more fights in the WXF X-Impact World Championships, 2003. She was able to earn the record of 3-0 in MMA. Shevchenko took a break from MMA for a time to focus on the kickboxing. She returned in a fight against Anissa Haddaoui in Phoenix FC 3, 2017. Shevchenko was able to defeat Anissa with a majority decision. She then defeated Valerie Domergue at Phoenix FC 4. She quit the club in 2018 to join Dana White's Contender Series in 2018. Shevchenko faced Jaimelene Nievera in Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11, Antonina's prodigious strike abilities permitted her to TKO Nievera via knees in the lower body. The result was that Antonina was given the chance to sign a UFC contract. Antonina Shevchenko made her UFC debut at TUF Heavy Hitters Finale against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko beat Roxanne Modafferi by a split-decision fight, after winning her first fight via unanimous decision. Antonina returned from her loss to defeat Lucie Pudilova during UFC on ESPN Covington vs. Lawler via second-round rear-naked choke, and was awarded the fight of the night reward for the fight. Shevchenko lost to Katlyn Cookagian but was able to defeat Ariane Lipski's three bouts. Then, Antonina fell to Casey O'Neill at UFC Fight Night Santos and. Walker via second-round TKO.
