Her college studies included Gerontology and Journalism. The blog has been widely recognized by various publications who have praised her style of writing and ideas and also some outstanding photographs. Her blogs also feature visually appealing food recipes. The Pioneer Woman was her first TV series, which is currently broadcast on The Food Network. Also, she is a published writer and many of her books contain of recipe for cooking. Columbia Pictures is turning her book Black Heels or Tractor Wheels into a feature film.
