Louisa Krause was born in New York City. She was best known as Anna Garner, the main character in The Girl Experience. Brenda Woodberg, her first movie role, was in Babysitters. Krause, who studied drama at college, has starred on a variety of off-Broadway shows and in New York network television series. The family of her parents are both Americans. The younger brother Nathaniel is an actor.
